Sections dismissed assistant coach Packers returns to the Bills staff

Jason Rebrovich, who was released as a coach of the Green Bay Packers defense line after the 2024 season, returns to the coaching staff of Buffalo Bills, Per Jeremy Fowler from ESPN. Rebrovich will be an assistant to the defensive trainer for Bills, the team in which he worked for four seasons in 2013–2016.

Rebrovich joined Packers as an external Linebackers coach in 2022. He moved to a Pass-Rush specialist in 2023 and to the defense line coach in 2024. In 2024, Matt Lafleur released Rebrovich and eventually hired Demarcus Covington as a deputy.

Packers produced 45 bags, but took the lower third third of the NFL in terms of pressure, average playmaker and total pressure of the playmaker last season.

Both Matt Lafleur and Brian Gutekunst said they believe that Packers have a suitable mix of talent in the defensive room. Rebrovich’s shooting must be seen as a reflection of this belief and the desire of the team to become much better in the defensive in 2025.

Rebrovich joined the NFL as an assistant to the defensive quality control in accounts in 2013. He served both the coach of the defensive line (2014, 2016) and the external line coach (2015) while working on the coaching staffs of Douga Marrone and Rex Ryan with bills.

Marcus West currently trains the defense line for bills. Rebrovich will be an assistant to the West coordinator and defensive Bobby Babich in Sean McDermott’s staff in 2025.
