Adams, who turns 32 in December, is under contract through the 2026 season, but the Raiders could (and likely would, absent a trade) opt out of the deal as early as the upcoming offseason, making a trade more and more possible.

The Packers rebuilt their tackle position through the draft and have no intention of trading for an aging wide receiver. So where can Adams be listed? A reunion with Aaron Rodgers in New York is possible. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen could operate some aid at forward. A potential nightmare landing spot for the Packers is Detroit, where Adams has teamed up with Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams and gave the Lions a great trio of receivers.

Adams, selected by the Packers in the second round of the 2014 draft, caught 18 passes for 209 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders’ first three games of 2024. He missed Week 4 with a hamstring injury.

Adams has caught over 100 passes and passed for over 1,000 yards in four straight seasons and five of the last six. In his first season with the Raiders in 2022, he led the NFL in touchdown catches with 14.

The Packers traded Adams to the Raiders in March 2022. In eight seasons with the Packers, Adams caught 669 passes for 8,121 yards and 73 touchdowns. In exchange for Adams, the Packers received a first- and second-round draft pick.

Adams is a six-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro. He led the NFL in receiving touchdowns in 2020 and was an All-Pro for the Packers in both 2020 and 2021.
