The Green Bay Packers will travel to Minneapolis on Sunday afternoon at US Bank Stadium for a gigantic showdown with the Minnesota Vikings, who have won eight straight games.
The matchup – FOX’s America’s Game of the Week – should be the perfect playoff test for a Packers team that has been powerful on both offense and defense since last week.
The 11-4 Packers can still leapfrog the Vikings in the standings at 13-2, but would need a win on Sunday, as well as a win over the Chicago Bears and a Vikings loss to the Detroit Lions next Sunday.

Updates, highlights
Watson inactive: The Packers will be without wide receiver Christian Watson, who is inactive with a knee injury. However, rookie defensive end Javon Bullard returns after a two-game absence. Three defensive starters – linebacker Jaire Alexander, linebacker Quay Walker and backup Evan Williams – are out. The Vikings are hearty.
Jacobs fumbled early: The Packers scored two first downs early, but Josh Jacobs found his way into Minnesota territory tardy on a 7-yard run. A arduous start after winning the throw and taking over the ball.
Nixon prevents touchdown: Packers linebacker Keisean Nixon broke up a 39-yard pass to Jordan Addison, and two plays later, the Vikings missed a 57-yard field goal. The score remains 0-0 and the Packers get the ball near midfield. Huge potential swing here.
Packers strike first: Some nice runs by Josh Jacobs, a first down by Tucker Kraft and a field goal for Minnesota gave the Packers their first points of the contest. Unable to convert a third-and-long from the 10-yard line, Matt LaFleur kicked a field goal from the compact field. It’s 3-0.
Nailor’s touchdown gives the Vikings the lead: The Vikings took a 7-3 lead on a 31-yard catch by Jalen Nailor. Nailor opened up on a deep post from the slot. Darnold himself saw little pressure in the passing game and threw for 77 yards on nine plays.
