Keep: Zach Tom, Rasheed Walker, Elgton Jenkins, Jordan Morgan, Sean Rhyan, Josh Myers, Travis Glover, Caleb Jones, Jacob Monk
Kruse: The Packers have created enviable depth here despite recent departures. We followed the youth movement by keeping all three draft picks and acquiring Jones instead of Andre Dillard. Undrafted rookie Donovan Jennings could be a player to watch during camp. Overall, there’s enough versatility to keep just nine.
Bretl: Like LaFleur said, we won’t really know how the offensive line performs until the pads come on, so my decision to pick Caleb Jones over Luke Tenuta was more deliberate than anything else. As for Dillard, he’s had plenty of reps as a starter this offseason, and while his starting experience is valuable, I’d guess the Packers would choose Jones’ youth and upside when it comes to who they want to put on the lineup as their fourth offensive option . In the end, I gave up on Royce Newman. This is the last year of his contract, the Packers can save space by moving on from him, and I think the squad already has a sturdy enough defenseman.
