The Green Bay Packers ruled running back MarShawn Lloyd and offensive lineman Jordan Morgan questionable, and listed cornerback Jaire Alexander and safety Evan Williams as questionable and defensive lineman Colby Wooden as questionable on the final injury report ahead of the Week 11 game against the Chicago Bears.
How will the injury affect Sunday’s clash?
Here’s a detailed breakdown of the Packers’ final injury report heading into Week 11:
Exit (2)
RB MarShawn Lloyd (ankle/hamstring/abdominal): Lloyd, who currently has appendicitis and an unclear return timeline, continues to deal with horrific injuries. He could miss multiple games if surgery was required to repair an internal problem. Without Lloyd, the Packers will continue to rely on Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks for the foreseeable future, along with Josh Jacobs at running back.
OL Jordan Morgan (shoulder): Speaking of bad luck with injuries, Morgan has suffered a shoulder injury for the third time and is sidelined indefinitely. He initially suffered the injury during the training camp. After re-injuring his shoulder in Week 2, the Packers’ first-round pick missed three games. Morgan started at left back in Week 9 and rotated with Sean Rhyan at right back. The Packers’ best backup in midfield right now is rookie Jacob Monk.
Doubtful (1)
DL Colby Wood (shoulder): He did not practice all week with a shoulder injury and is not expected to play. The Packers could bring a defensive lineman – like Jonathan Ford – off the practice squad to support him play deeper on offense against the Bears.
Doubtful (2)
CB Jaire Alexander (knee): The Packers’ top cornerback returned to practice this week after missing Week 9 and participated in three circumscribed practices. While he’s not 100 percent yet, he is expected to play against the Bears. Eric Stokes, Carrington Valentine and Keisean Nixon played most of the perimeter snaps that were not available with Alexander this season.
S. Evan Williams (hamstring): Like Alexander, Williams returned to training this week and made circumscribed appearances in all three practices. The Packers would have played Javon Bullard more safely if Williams had any limitations on Sunday.
No status indication
The following players do not have a status designation and will be available to play Sunday against the Bears: DL Kenny Clark, DE Kingsley Enagbare, RB Josh Jacobs, OL Elgton Jenkins, QB Jordan Love, C Josh Myers, LT Rasheed Walker.
Myers will try to play after suffering a wrist injury. He was circumscribed this week. Love was a full participant throughout the week.
Bear injury report
The Bears have ruled out starting left guard Teven Jenkins, who has an ankle injury, but the offensive line will return at tackle with Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright ready for Sunday. Edge’s Montez Sweat is questionable, but he trained tough on Friday. Former Packers linebacker Tarvarius Moore is questionable despite still being concussed. The Bears placed backup Jaquan Brisker as the backup.
