Sections Summary of the Packers’ final injury report from Week 9 against the Lions

QB Jordan Love (groin): The Packers quarterback missed Wednesday’s practice but returned for restricted practice on both Thursday and Friday. He was questionable twice before this season – he missed Week 3 against the Titans but played in Week 4 against the Vikings. It’s possible that Love will be a real decision made during the game. It is assumed that if Love does not suffer a defeat, he will play on Sunday. Malik Willis, the magical support, will come into play if Love cannot leave.

RB Josh Jacobs (ankle): The veteran runner is confident he will play on Sunday. He missed training on Wednesday but has had restricted appearances over the past two days. If Jacobs is restricted at all on Sunday, the Packers will need more backups in Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks, both of whom have shown they’re capable in recent weeks.

CB Jaire Alexander (knee): Even though Alexander didn’t practice all week, he still has a chance to play on Sunday. It would be difficult to believe he would be able to start on Sunday, but who knows. The Packers will certainly need him against a sturdy offense and high passing efficiency. If Alexander isn’t available, the Packers will likely choose Eric Stokes and Carrington Valentine on the wing and Keisean Nixon on the outfield.

CB Corey Ballentine (ankle): He has returned to training and has taken part in three restricted training sessions this week, but his status remains in question. The Packers may need him to tackle if Alexander can’t make the trip. Robert Rochell is out of action, so only rookies Kamal Hadden and Kalen King are available on the practice squad at cornerback.
