It is questionable whether Green Bay Packers linebacker Jaire Alexander will return to Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears because of a knee injury.
Alexander was listed as questionable entering the game with a knee injury. He only played in some packages in the first half and is not expected to return in the second half.
Alexander first injured his knee slow in the Packers’ Week 8 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He missed Green Bay’s Week 9 loss to the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field.
Without Alexander, the Packers would have had to play cornerbacks Keisean Nixon, Carrington Valentine and Eric Stokes for the rest of the game. Rookie Javon Bullard is playing in the slot. Backup Corey Ballentine is also available at cornerback.
After Sunday’s game in Chicago, the Packers will have to face the powerful offenses of the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions over the next three weeks.
