The Green Bay Packers returned Christian Watson from injury and Romeo Doubs from suspension on Sunday, but the receiving corps took another blow when Dontayvion Wicks suffered a shoulder injury and left the field in the first half. The Packers ruled Wicks out to start the second half.
Before his injury, Wicks caught one pass for nine yards on three targets. Wicks followed up his one catch with a move in the open field on a brief play and converted on third down.
Wicks entered the contest with 10 catches for 124 yards and a team-high three catches for touchdowns.
Although Wicks left with an injury, Watson, Doubs and Jayden Reed caught touchdown passes from Jordan Love in the first half.
Bo Melton could get more snaps out of goal if Wicks can’t finish Sunday’s game. Malik Heath is also lively at the receiver position.
The Packers will face the Houston Texans next week at Lambeau Field.
