Sections The Packers will begin play on Sunday 5.5 points behind the Eagles in the NFC Wild Card round

The Green Bay Packers entered play Sunday morning with a 5.5-point lead over the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Wild Card round.

The Packers (11-6, seventh in the NFC) and Eagles (14-3, second in the NFC) will tip off at Lincoln Financial Field at 3:30 p.m. ET.

The opening line is Eagles -3.5. Since then, the team has moved two points toward the Eagles, likely in response to Jalen Hurts’ approval of the concussion protocol and the Packers’ tardy finish to the 2024 regular season.

The over/under is 45.5 points.

The Packers have lost their last three games as underdogs – away to the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions and at home to the Lions. Previously, the Packers were winning as underdogs against the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans, with Malik Willis starting in place of the injured Jordan Love.

In 2024, the Eagles were favored by at least 5.5 points seven times. They won six in a row, but lost at home to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2 as a 5.5-point favorite. Additionally, on December 22, Philadelphia lost away to Washington Commanders as a 4.0-point favorite.

The Eagles won 34-29 against the Packers in Week 1 and were a 2.0-point favorite.

Last year, the Packers won in Dallas by 16 points, with a 7.0-point lead over the NFC East champion Cowboys in the wild-card round.

The winner will advance to the NFC divisional round on Sunday. If the Packers are able to play in Philadelphia, they will return to the road next weekend and face the 15-2 Detroit Lions at Ford Field.
