On Wednesday, the Green Bay Packers released the team’s first injury report for Wild Card weekend. The team will release two more injury reports, including a final injury report on Friday with official game status designations ahead of Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Wild Card round.
Here’s everything you need to know from the Packers’ first injury report:
— Both point guards Jordan Love and Malik Willis were confined on Wednesday. Love has a right elbow injury and Willis has a right thumb injury. Both are right-handed quarterbacks. Love said Wednesday he was feeling better but still recovering. For the Eagles, Jalen Hurts’ return to practice following a concussion was confined.
— Linebacker Quay Walker (ankle) and safety Evan Williams (quad) both returned to practice on a confined basis. Both have missed the last three games.
— Defensive lineman TJ Slaton did not practice with a up-to-date ankle injury. Coach Matt LaFleur said it’s possible Slaton could still play Sunday without any practice. The gigantic forward would be a bust against Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley.
—Defensive end Brenton Cox Jr. (foot), receiver Romeo Doubs (illness) and tackle Andre Dillard (concussion) returned to practice. Doubs was a full participant.
— One thing to monitor this week: Linebacker Edgerrin Cooper was confined with a knee injury and illness.
— Safety Zayne Anderson is still out in the concussion protocol.
— The Eagles had 10 players listed on their injury report, but five of them were full players and only one did not train (defender Trevor Keegan, illness). AJ Brown was confined due to a knee injury, but was also named to the reserve list. The Eagles are a fit football team.
