On Wednesday, the Green Bay Packers released the team’s first injury report from Week 12. The team will release two more injury reports, including a final injury report on Friday with official status indications ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.
Here’s everything you need to know from the Packers’ first Week 12 injury report:
Who didn’t participate?
Only cornerback Jaire Alexander, who missed Sunday’s win over the Bears with a lingering knee injury. Coach Matt LaFleur said the Packers will give Alexander a week to see if he can physically prepare for the game, but missing the team on Sunday and not competing on Wednesday is not a good sign for his potential availability this week. Rookie defenseman MarShawn Lloyd did not participate in Wednesday’s game but was placed on the non-football medical illness list due to requiring an appendectomy.
Who returned to training?
Defensive lineman Colby Wooden, who missed last week’s win with a shoulder injury, returned to practice on a restricted basis.
What does Jordan’s love look like?
Officially cured. The Packers no longer list Love on the injury report. He practiced fully last week and looked more mobile and healthier in the win over the Bears.
Any fresh injuries worth knowing about?
Linebacker Edgerrin Cooper was restricted Wednesday with a fresh hamstring injury, while running back Josh Jacobs suffered a calf injury and was also restricted.
Who is still restricted by injuries?
Jacobs (quad), defensive lineman Kenny Clark (finger), center Josh Myers (wrist), left tackle Rasheed Walker (knee) and reserve Evan Williams (hamstring) were restricted Wednesday due to previous injuries. All five players resolved issues against the Bears last Sunday.
Who is no longer on the injury report?
Edge Rush Kingsley Enagbare is no longer listed. He injured his elbow last week but practiced fully and had no limitations against the Bears. As mentioned above, love has also been removed.
What to know from the 49ers injury report?
On Wednesday, the 49ers listed five players as out of the game, including linebacker Nick Bosa, who has hip and oblique injuries. This is one Packers fans should watch. Bosa is a game destroyer. Running back Christian McCaffrey rested and missed the tackle. Trent Williams did not train due to an ankle injury. Tight end George Kittle returned to practice on a restricted basis after missing last week’s game with a hamstring injury and is confident he will play on Sunday. Quarterback Brock Purdy was restricted with right shoulder pain.
