Sections Will Zach Tom the Packers be the most underrated player entering 2024?

“So many young Packers have stepped up at so many key positions in 2023 that it would be easy to miss Tom’s emergence at right tackle,” Blair wrote.

In his second season in the NFL, Tom played right tackle at a level close to the Pro Bowl. He has endured competition against elite competition, giving up just two sacks and two quarterback hits in 17 games. Among all offensive tackles with at least 600 snaps in 2023, Tom’s overall grade was 13th in Pro Football Focus. He only committed three penalties.

The next hurdle for Tom will be to go from being a closeted person to being widely known as a great player. His third season in the NFL had a rocky start after he tore a pectoral muscle and required surgery. The Packers hope he will be ready for training camp. Upon his return, Tom is expected to start somewhere along the Packers’ offensive line in their Week 1 game in Brazil against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Tom is the definition of underrated. He is quite unknown around the league when it comes to fan recognition, even though he had a great season at the top. In terms of skill, performance and importance, Tom enters 2024 as one of the most valuable players for a potential Super Bowl contender.

What about underestimation? IN a recent post by Doug Farrar of Touchdown WireSecond-year defensive lineman Karl Brooks was selected. Professional focus on football took sophomore receiver Dontayvion Wicks.
