The Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns have a long history together. In 2021, the two teams faced off in the NBA Championship, with Green Bay winning in six games. Since then, there has been a constant (diminutive) rivalry between the two teams.
Now we could very well see Phoenix buying a player that Milwaukee was interested in.

Sam Amick of The Athletic reported that Jimmy Butler’s representatives failed to inform the Milwaukee Bucks that he did not want to play there:
NBA insider Chris Haynes originally reported on January 7 that multiple teams had been told this Butler “is not interested in being traded there” amid the conflict with the Heat. Haynes specifically cited the Memphis Grizzlies in an interview with Yahoo Sports Kevin O’Connor adding Bucks to the group.
ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that Butler told Heat president Pat Riley again last week that he wanted out and deliberately confined the team pool.
