Race your family and friends down snow-covered hills on the Metro during your winter vacation. Many ski resorts in Wisconsin create snow tubing lanes and often illuminate them at night, which is perfect for guests who want to enjoy downhill skiing or snowboarding during the day. The best thing about this winter sport is that no experience is required. All you have to do is grab the tube, hop on and ride away for the ride of your life.

Along the Wisconsin-Illinois border, Mount Wilmot has 22 snowtubing tracks, each over 300 meters long. After a few runs down the hill and onto the conveyor belt lifts, hot up and refuel with a snack at the lodge and take in the stunning views from the observation deck. At night, the pipe area is illuminated for even more winter fun. Other snow-filled attractions include skiing and snowboarding.
In the Wisconsin Dells, Christmas mountain village also offers day and night snow tubing thrills with over 300-meter-long slides. Snow tubing is just one of many reasons to visit the resort, which offers a variety of accommodations from cottages to townhouses, as well as amenities including day and night slopes, holiday events and an indoor pool. Cascade Mountain in Portage also has 300-foot day pipe chutes.
Mont du Lac Resort Superior has a 500-foot tubing and track park. Some adapt to the needs of compact children, others travel through the forest and offer greater speed. The resort, open all year round, also offers skiing, skating and snowshoeing.
You don’t have to get into the wilderness to enjoy the descents. Park at The titular city IN Green Bay offers seasonal snow skiing down a 46-foot hill.
All ski resorts and attractions have tubes, and most have an elevator system that takes guests back to the hill. Each attraction has specific height requirements.
Once you’ve chosen your snow tubing location, you and your loved ones are sure to enjoy winter activities that will have everyone smiling and laughing while sliding down the slides.
