There will be more wild birds on Thanksgiving tables in Wisconsin in November as hunters recorded 42,439 turkeys during the spring season, a 19% escalate over the previous year.
Taylor Finger, DNR game bird ecologist, said that due to some unfavorable weather conditions, hunting success could be considered even better than the numbers indicate.
