I think the huge northern pike remain a mystery to most anglers. At least to me. Zeug knows about my desire to catch huge pike and mentions it in his article. I believe there are huge pike in our lakes, although a 44-inch pike may be as sporadic as a 50-inch muskie. I don’t know where they hide.
