He started this year in Double-A Biloxi and earned a promotion to Triple-A after his first 14 starts of the year resulted in a 3.31 ERA and 91 strike outs in 75.2 innings pitched.

After being promoted to Triple-A in 2023 with the Brewers, Justin Jarvis struggled to an ERA of 8.04 with nine starts. In 2024, he similarly struggled with the same pitch, only in the New York Mets farm system. Last year, his ERA was 2.90 in 40.1 innings pitched in Double-A, but 5.98 in 46.2 innings pitched in Triple-A. A season ago, he played both off the court and as a starting pitcher.

Every year that Justin Jarvis pitched in Triple-A, his walk rate increased significantly. In 2023, his walk rate increased from 13% in Double-A to 19% in Triple-A, and last year it increased from 4% to 10%. His fastball has never been an issue because he spins it well and keeps it in his zone, but continuing to develop requires the ability to find the extra pitch and control it. If the Dodgers can lend a hand him regulate one out-of-control pitch that he can throw reliably for strikes, his game could reach another level.
