The Kletsch Dam fish passage opens 40 miles of the Milwaukee River in Wisconsin

The completion of the Kletsch Dam fish passage in Glendale, Wisconsin, opens 25 miles of the Milwaukee River north of Grafton, allowing fish to move freely further upstream from Lake Michigan.
Additionally, the recent fish passage opens 47 km of Milwaukee River tributaries and 2,400 acres of wetlands that offer expanded spawning habitat for many fish species.
