This offseason, the Milwaukee Brewers lost the heart and soul of their team when Willy Adames left in free agency. While they have made one infield acquisition to fill that void, Matt Arnold now faces a crucial 24-hour window to sign an international goalkeeper who could be the perfect addition to the squad.
What is the current condition of the Milwaukee Brewers infield?
In addition to first base, the Brewers currently have Joey Ortiz, Brice Turang and Caleb Durbin in the pipeline, all of whom boast significant playing time at all of third base, second base and shortstop. Oliver Dunn, Tyler Black, Andruw Monasterio, Isaac Collins and Vinny Capra are other players who will also compete for playing time.
Hyeseong Kim has less than 24 hours to sign a contract with an MLB team
The Kiwoom Heroes published Hyeseon Kim’s post on December 4meaning he has 30 days from that date to sign a contract with an MLB team; otherwise, he will return to the KBO. Kim is a versatile midfielder, a great athlete with great speed and a contact-oriented attacker. It’s a little surprising he hasn’t signed yet, but it’s possible he’s using the deadline as leverage to get a better deal.
Hyeseong Kim would be an ideal offseason acquisition for the Milwaukee Brewers
The Brewers are known for taking calculated risks while keeping their budget in mind. Signing Hyeseong Kim would likely be a profitable move, with most projections calling for him to be signed within three years and earn $24 million. Kim fits the profile of the player Milwaukee wants because he plays excellent defense, brings pressure as a primary runner and puts the ball in play.
We will find out in the next 24 hours whether Hyesong Kim signs a contract with an MLB team or not.
