Choice: RB Marshawn Lloyd
Admittedly, there isn’t much choice here. First-round pick Jordan Morgan won’t win the award, even if he’s a plus on offense. Lloyd will enter training camp as the third running back, but that could change quickly. In a scenario where Josh Jacobs gets injured, Lloyd could become a very crucial player. He is energetic as both a runner and a receiver, and it’s not uncommon for rookies to provide immediate impact. That said, a running back hasn’t won the award since Saquon Barkley in 2018.
