The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will hold two open houses in early October to discuss a revised wolf plan.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced Thursday that it will hold two open houses for the public to learn more about revised draft Wolf Management Plan for 2023.

Open houses will be held at Northwood Technical College in Ashland, Wisconsin, on October 2 and at UW-Stevens Point in Marshfield, Wisconsin, on October 3. Both events will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Attendees will be able to come and go during the events.

During the open house, attendees will have the opportunity to ask Wisconsin DNR staff questions about the plan.

This revised draft Wolf Management Plan for 2023 was issued by the DNR on August 1, 2023. It will be presented to the Natural Resources Board this fall during its October 25 meeting.
