The Milwaukee Bucks are off to their worst start to the season in a decade. After 12 games, they have a record of 4-8 and are currently in 12th place in the Eastern Conference. It is obvious that they need to make some changes so that the team can fight for another promotion in the play-offs.
It doesn’t support that the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are in their league, had the best start in the NBA (13-0). As it turns out, the situation for this team will not get much easier in the near future.
“This is a serious concern” Bucks released an extremely disturbing report
The Milwaukee Bucks may look like they’ll bounce back from a terrible start, but the future of one of their key players is still in doubt:
Appearing on ESPN’s “NBA Today,” Shams Charania said the Bucks are bullish they will clear Damian Lillard from the concussion protocol by the weekend. However, the bigger issue is the lack of progress Khris Middleton is making in his recovery from his ankle injury.
“The biggest concern in Milwaukee is Khris Middleton. His absence has been deafening to this team,” Charania said. “He hasn’t even gotten to 5v5 yet.
They are not sure when exactly he will switch to 5v5 play. His absence was much longer than team officials expected. However, they hope to pick him in some 5-on-5 games over the next few weeks and hopefully he can get back on the field.

Middleton’s lack of a return timetable is definitely a concern at this point, especially considering nature of off-season procedures on the ankle. As Charania mentioned, the Bucks expected him to return at the beginning of the season, and we’re still talking about him being gone 12 games with a few weeks left.
Middleton has long been a key part of Milwaukee’s core. Last season he played 55 games, scoring 15.1 points and 5.3 assists per game, and is also one of the team’s most essential defensive players.
Here are Middleton’s career stats:
