Three Ways to Catch Muskies After Summer Frosty Fronts

As we rowed our boat into the narrow bay, I felt that our fishing successes would soon change.
In five hours of fishing under a cloudless sky we had only managed to land one lethargic muskie, but now the conditions finally seemed right. We had chosen the bay because it faced east and was thus sheltered from the robust northwest wind that had blown in after the frigid front had passed. All day long the chunky weeds that covered the back of the bay had been warmed by the sun, and the tops of cabbages were poking above the surface.
