An erosion control and habitat improvement project at Waupaca City Park benefits both trout and anglers.
Work began on Brainard’s Bridge Park in March, and the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) completed the project in May.
Kyle Kossel, a habitat technician with the DNR’s Shawano office, oversaw the project. The biggest attraction of the park are the bridges providing access to two islands.
