It’s tardy June and the Milwaukee Brewers have made a trade. One that will certainly have an impact on their ability to compete in the postseason.
As Ken Rosenthal reported, the Brewers have gotten some pitching facilitate.
The Milwaukee Brewers are getting a ton of facilitate midway through the season
According to Ken Rosenthal The Athletic on X, Brewers have acquired left-hander Dallas Keuchel from the Mariners. Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports that the Mariners will receive cash in return.
Because he was on a minor league contract with the Mariners and was not on the 40-man roster, the Brewers would not be required to add him to the roster immediately.
Keuchel, 36, appeared in 13 games for the Tacoma Rainers, a Seattle Triple-A team, with a record of 7-4 and an ERA of 3.93. A forceful starting pitching staff has not been a strength for the Milwaukee Brewers this season. There is no doubt that Keuchel will improve this area.
