This event was organized in cooperation with Biathlon Canada to collect the largest group of master’s athletes for one event. This coincides with historical American races and American exhibitions the following weekend, at a distance of a miniature journey. This offers biathlonists a chance to participate in two events during one adventure in the Middle West.
Medals will be awarded in five different age categories Masters (30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+), both for the Biathlon Masters championships and the Masters Championships in North America. In addition, the U30 “Open” category will take place, enabling athletes under the age of 30 the competition for the Ariens Nordic Center Biathlon Festival.
