Way

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” This verse was led by Sarah Davison both personally and with her Grammy-nominated band, High Road. Sarah, an accomplished pianist and vocalist, was joined by Ivy Phillips, Tennessee Grandmaster Fiddle Champion; Kristen Bearfield on mandolin and guitar; and Emily Ann Roberts, runner-up on The Voice, who plays guitar and sings with the band. Since their inception, High Road has earned a Grammy nomination for their album Gonna Sing, Gonna Shout, Singing News’ New Artist of the Year, a Dove Award nomination for Bluegrass/Roots Album of the Year, and Singing News’ 2022 Band of the Year. What began as diminutive gigs at county fairs and country churches quickly grew into something much bigger for High Road, and the secret to their true harmony can be found in their sisterhood. They now perform at leading gospel events across the country, to the delight of their steadfast fans.
