Last week, Willis was essentially tasked with being the game manager against the Indianapolis Colts. This week, Willis put on a winning performance against his former team, completing 13 of 19 passes for 201 yards with one passing touchdown and one rushing touchdown. Willis made some confident throws and showed his mobility, leading the team in rushing and setting a up-to-date career-high 73 yards on six attempts. It was clear early on that LaFleur was more comfortable opening the playbook, a testament to his confidence in his quarterback and Willis’ preparation. Love appears to be on track to return next week, but the backup deserves a ton of credit for helping Green Bay pick up two wins in his absence.
