“We’re back”; Milwaukee Bucks fans react to the joyful news about Khris Middleton

Currently, the leader is Milwaukee Bucks Miami Heat by halftime 65:51. They achieved such a immense advantage despite the fact that they are playing without two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was suddenly ruled out due to a knee injury. Damian Lillard has carried most of the scoring so far, scoring 25 points in the first half.

Of course, the Bucks are also playing without three-time All-Star Khris Middleton, who had surgery on both ankles in the offseason. His absence was cited as the main reason why Milwaukee started the season with a 1-6 record, although the team has started playing better recently and is currently 8-9.

As the Bucks continue their heated streak, they just got some great news about Middleton’s return schedule.

Ahead of the Bucks vs. Heat matchup, ESPN’s NBA insider Shams Charania reported that Middleton is expected to return shortly after Thanksgiving.

“For the first time in the rehab process, I was told that Khris Middleton completed a full five-on-five practice with the Bucks in Miami on Monday following bilateral ankle surgeries,” Charania said. “The team hopes to be able to make its season debut sometime after Thanksgiving. From what I’ve been told, he’s already been cleared by doctors to play, but what’s essential to him is comfort. [He intends to return] when he’s absolutely right and feels like he’ll be able to make an impact like we know Khris Middleton can when he’s fully fit.

Middleton, the team’s all-time leader in three-pointers made, was initially expected to be ready for the start of the season. However, it took him longer than expected to get medical clearance to play.

Before his injury in the 2022 NBA Playoffs, Middleton made three All-Star teams in four years and averaged over 20 points per game for three years in a row.

However, since his injury, Middleton has played in just 88 games over two seasons and averaged 15.1 points per game.

However, during the Bucks’ first-round loss to the Indiana Pacers last season, Giannis was sidelined with a calf injury and Lillard was severely confined by an Achilles tendon issue. Middleton improved and averaged 24.7 points, 9.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game.

Here’s the version of Middleton fans are hoping to see again, as seen by their reactions to the news:

As incredible as it may sound, the Big Three of Giannis, Lillard and Middleton have only played six games together since Doc Rivers took over as head coach.

It will be very fascinating to see what his offense looks like when all of his stars are fit.
