Four years after the pandemic decimated events in the City of Festivals, and around the world, the festival and fair lineup in the Milwaukee area is not just the way it was.
It feels way bigger.
Nearly all of the area festivals and fairs that ran for decades — only to all be pulled off the calendar in 2020, then returning in scattered fashion in the years that followed — are back in action in 2024.
But there are some newcomers, including the Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival, a now-annual summer event introduced last year. There are even a couple of outdoor music festivals in the Milwaukee area taking place during Summerfest’s window.
Here’s a confirmed list of dates and locations for outdoor festivals and fairs taking place in the Milwaukee area in 2024, from behind schedule May through early September. This list will be updated with more events, so be sure to keep checking back.
