The Wisconsin Badgers and quarterback Jarin Mock have parted ways. The selection committee for 2026 has withdrawn its program.
Mock is classified as #39 QB in the 2026 class by On3 and had been committed to the Badgers since July 27. This write-off comes after Wisconsin fired offensive coordinator Phil Longo and hired Jeff Grimes.
Everything is going wrong in Wisconsin
Mock was their first commitment in the 2026 class. Wisconsin will continue to look for a better fit in their recent offensive system.
Wisconsin Badgers football is back in the news for all the wrong reasons. With the QB coach, OC is changing and now they have released QB Jarin Mock 2026 from his involvement.
Wisconsin and Mock’s reputation continues
Jarin Mock said: “After a short conversation with Wisconsin, they stopped honoring my commitment. That being said, my recruitment is 100% open.“
Wisconsin’s reputation is currently in the gutter. It doesn’t lend a hand that the Xavier Lucas situation happened.
