Wisconsin Badgers cornerback Ricardo Hallman will remain with the program for a fifth season. He started in 33 games in his career and was an integral part of the Badgers defense.
Hallman’s return to the Badgers will aid the defense next season. This was huge news for Wisconsin.
Hallman’s impact on the Badgers
Wisconsin finished the season with 10 defenders on the roster. He is a talented, experienced cornerback who helps fill a gap in the lineup.
In 2023, Hallman had seven interceptions while taking on his toughest challenges as an undersized CB. When they met last season, he gave up just one catch to Marvin Harrison Jr.
Hallman’s skill set and distinctions
Hallman has an excellent zone eye, instincts and good footwork. He has great confidence in himself and his football instincts, which allows him to play at full speed 100% of the time.
Hallman was named a second-team AP preseason All-American. He played 319 he allowed just one touchdown last season.
