The Wisconsin Badgers will play their first BIG10 Conference game of the season on the road on Saturday afternoon against the #13 USC Trojans. The game will start at 2:30 PM CT.
Wisconsin had an off week after losing to #4 Alabama Crimson Tide the week before 42-10. As for USC, they lost to #12 Michigan Wolverines on the road last week 27-24 in the final minute of play.
#13 USC Trojans open as weighty favorites at home against the Wisconsin Badgers
The Badgers are 2-1 this season, while the Trojans are 2-1 overall and 0-1 in BIG10 Conference play. This is a must-win game for both teams in the BIG10 Conference. FanDuel Sports BettingUSC will be a (-14.5) point favorite over Wisconsin.
The USC Trojans are priced at -105 to cover the spread, while the Wisconsin Badgers are priced at -115 to cover the spread. It will be fascinating to see how the Trojans respond to the Badgers after losing their conference opener to Michigan last Saturday.
The quarterback doesn’t live up to expectations
With Tyler Van Dyke out for the rest of the season for the Wisconsin Badgers, Braedyn Locke is projected to be the starting quarterback for head coach Luke Fickell through the end of the 2024 season. Locke has completed 50.0 percent of his passes for 125 yards and one touchdown this season, and he will need to improve if the Badgers want to win games in the BIG10.
USC Trojans quarterback Miller’s Moss could be one of the top quarterbacks in the BIG10 for head coach Lincoln Riley. He has completed 65.0 percent of his passes for 890 yards, five touchdowns and one interception this season. Moss will make some throws down the field against the Badgers defense. The Trojans can score early and often against Wisconsin.
