The Wisconsin Badgers play Shahn Alston, as well as Penn State and USC. The 2026 four-star RB will announce his commitment on Jan. 11 during the Navy All American Bowl in San Antonio.
Alston, a 6-foot-7, 200-pounder from Painesville Harvey High School in Ohio, is a top running back prospect in the class of 2026. He has all the tools: size, vision, contact balance and the physicality of speed.
Shahn’s Sophomore Numbers Fast
This is a great statistic from the 2023 season. Harvey High School running back Shahn Alston ran 1042 yards.
As a freshman, Alston rushed for 651 yards and 13 touchdowns in nine games. Shahn Alston was named CVC Player of the Week.
Talented Wisconsin offensive line
The Wisconsin Badgers have great offensive talent that will support him on his journey. Badgers offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes focuses on the running game in football.
The Badgers have also had great running backs in the past such as Melvin Gordon, Johnathan Taylor and Ron Dayne. Since 2012, the Badgers have had five running backs drafted into the NFL, USC has had three and Penn State has had two.
