The Wisconsin Badgers wide receiver depth chart for the upcoming 2024 season will be slightly different than it was a season ago. According to the latest depth chart, the projected starters for Wisconsin this season will be Bryson Green, CJ Williams and Will Pauling.
CJ Williams transferred from the USC Trojans in the offseason, and the Wisconsin Badgers winger position will be much deeper. There will be several other players who can also compete for playing time.
A season ago with the Wisconsin Badgers, Green caught 32 passes for 480 yards and two touchdowns. He also averaged 15.0 yards per catch. Wisconsin will have him as their second wide receiver behind Will Pauling, and he will be the primary target for transfer point guard Tyler Van Dyke from Miami.
Chimere Dyke and Skyler Bell are two wingers who were on the Badgers’ roster last season but are absent this season. The best player on Wisconsin’s map entering this season is Will Pauling. A season ago, Pauling caught 74 passes for 837 yards and six touchdowns and averaged 11.3 yards per catch.
Wisconsin Badgers transfer CJ Williams has a chance to break out this season
After spending his first two seasons with the USC Trojans, Williams will begin his junior year with the Badgers this season. He caught only 15 passes for 148 yards and zero touchdowns. CJ Williams averaged 9.9 yards per reception.

Behind CJ Williams on the Wisconsin Badgers depth chart are Joseph Griffin and Tyrell Henry. Both are transfer players and hope to put pressure on Williams during training camp to gain playing time in 2024.
Assuming Williams beats them, he’ll have a chance to break this offense this season. He will be a junior for the Badgers this season and will need to improve to improve the offensive efficiency. Will Pauling can’t be the only one productive at this position in this offense.
