The Wisconsin basketball team has been keeping a close eye on one of the most promising players in the state of Wisconsin lately.
Edward Bullockcombo point guard from Nicolet has recently made a name for himself with his performances and elusive traits. Bullock has been preparing for an upcoming season in which he hopes to make a stern splash in recruiting. During a recent interview with Sports Heroics in WisconsinThe 2027-born quarterback shared what he thinks he still needs to work on on the field to be successful.
Wisconsin basketball is keeping a close eye on rising 2027 in-state recruit Edward Bullock
As the Wisconsin basketball staff scoured the state for potential recruits for the future, one such recruit was playing like crazy. Nicolet, a guard and active scorer Edward Bullock has had a successful summer of international AAU competition so far and looks to continue his success into the next high school season.
Bullock has not yet been contacted by Wisconsin basketball staff or other programs, but multiple coaches have already watched his film. Bullock is a lofty guard who has the size to shoot over defenders from the perimeter and the strength to score inside against massive men.
2027 Defense Attorney Edward Bullock: ‘I Think I’m the Leader’
The Wisconsin basketball player and rising star in the state may have his best days ahead of him, but the foundation is certainly there. When asked what makes him successful on the court, Bullock said, “Well, I think I’m a leader and I can score at all three levels and defend the same way.” Bullock continued, “And if I’m having a bad game, I can rebound better than most taller players.”
One thing Bullock also failed to mention is his ability to take over games with his warm shooting. The point guard recently played in 16U and scored 30 points in his first start with the team, showing his ability to consistently make shots. If Bullock is left unattended, he has both the accuracy and confidence to shoot from anywhere on the court to make a shot.
What does Bullock need to get a Wisconsin Badgers basketball scholarship?
What Bullock has that will allow him to be a successful college player is both his range and his knowledge of the game. When a point guard is having a bad game, he’ll either break down rebounds or distribute the ball so it’s uncomplicated to see. Bullock understands the game on a different level and knows how to add value to a team, even if he can’t score points for them.
Time will be key for Bullock in his college recruiting, as the linebacker simply needs more opportunities to play against top competition. Bullock is a raw prospect with all the tools to succeed at the next level, but he simply needs more time on the field. With another full season under Bullock’s belt, as well as this summer, the linebacker can certainly take his game to the next level.
