At the Natural Resources Board meeting May 24 in Madison, the board learned the DNR will present eight of nine questions on the NRB regulations for approval June 28 in Milwaukee.
The DNR presented all nine public comment questions at its spring environmental hearings in April. One question the DNR does not plan to consider is a proposal to expand the October youth deer hunting season from two days to four. The youth deer season expansion received 3,492 votes in favor and 3,649 votes against.
