The Wisconsin Natural Resources Board (NRB) received insight into the novel 2% boost in the cleanup budget the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is requesting for 2025-2027.
The DNR submitted its budget request to the governor through the Department of Administration on September 16 and provided an overview to the board at its September 25 meeting. Maggie Hutter, DNR budget director, said the budget does not include any novel initiatives.
