For Mitchell, while the recruiting process is just beginning to really get going, looking at programs to find a novel home will require learning the details of each staff. Mitchell is truly intrigued by the value a good staff can add, as well as the bonds and relationships coaches create with their players.

Mitchell stated, “I need a strong brotherhood when it comes to each player because that’s important, that family feeling because when I commit I want to stay in school all 3-4 years.” Mitchell also stated regarding his recruitment, “The most important thing is great coaches that are willing to actually train players and help them develop not only as players but as young men.”

Mitchell knows that when he is pushed by the right personnel, he can achieve what he wants to achieve on the field. The goal for the all-around athlete now is to figure out what personnel and program will be what they will be.

For Wisconsin, the key to recruiting Mitchell will be focusing on what the staff and program can offer the recruit. Whether he plays offense or defense for the school, Mitchell wants to know he’ll be around a staff that is committed to developing each player both on and off the field. Mitchell also said he’s looking for a “strong brotherhood” among his future coaches to bring the staff and players closer together.

If one thing is for sure, Mitchell is someone who is thinking about college for the long haul, both on and off the field. Another key to Mitchell’s recruitment is the classroom, as the recruit is very interested in engineering and robotics. The recruit wants to make sure the college he’s attending has a great academic record with impressive professors.
