After offering a scholarship in May, the Wisconsin football staff selected a 2026 wide receiver who believes his size will be key.
Jayden Warrena three-star 2026 wide receiver from Texas, is one of the top wide receiver targets in his class for Wisconsin. The Badgers staff loves the size and speed Warren offers, as do other top programs like Oklahoma, USCAND Kansas. During a recent interview with Wisconsin Sports HeroesWarren revealed his recruitment early on.
Wisconsin football team goal Jayden Warren is aiming for a breakout season
After showing up and dominating multiple camps, the 2026 three-star winger Jayden Warren has been noticed by several programs. The speedy wide receiver currently has nine scholarship offers, but he’s sure to receive many more offers before the end of the summer. At the beginning, the recipient says that he is “humbled” by the process and understands the work ahead of him.
When asked who he had been in contact with recently, Warren stated, “I would say Kansas, Oklahoma, USC and SMU have been in contact with me the most.” Warren also said he would like to hear about it State of Florida AND TCU in the future as they are both shows he admires.
Heading into a summer filled with camps and another season, Warren has a chance to make a name for himself with college coaches.
Jayden Warren: “Wisconsin is a great school, I did some research”
One of the programs Warren contacted about a scholarship offer is the Wisconsin Badgers. Warren wasn’t in particularly close contact with Wisconsin yet, but he had done a lot of his own research. The wide receiver stated, “Wisconsin is a great school, I did a little research and the school is great.”
Warren also revealed that he had been in contact with the wingers’ coach Kenny Guiton when he stated: “I called the wingers coach and he’s a great guy.” The wide receiver went on to say, “I feel like we’ll have a great relationship with him in the future.”
Wisconsin Badgers football staff aiming to develop future relationships
As a receiver, Warren made a name for himself due to his speed, size and athleticism for the position. The Wisconsin football staff really enjoyed seeing it on Warren, as they have with many other programs, as Warren continues to be noticed on major broadcasts.
For the Wisconsin football staff, the goal at this point is to continue to develop their relationship with Warren. The wide receiver takes what the staff says and does very seriously and wants to be part of a program that has his back. Like most recruits, Warren focuses on developing relationships with the staff first before deciding on his future home.
