Wisconsin football just lost another Locke. Shortly after point guard Braedyn Locke’s decision to leave Madison via the transfer portal, his brother Landyn Locke also decided to withdraw his commitment from the Badgers.
“I have resigned from service and am no longer under contract with the University of Wisconsin” – Landyn announced on X (the social media platform formerly known as Twitter). “I am grateful for this opportunity, but my recruitment is 100% open,” Landyn added.
The three-star 2025 quarterback, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury last September, initially signed with the Wisconsin Football team on December 4, but apparently changed his mind after his brother’s decision to leave the Badgers.
For what it’s worth, Braedyn has yet to find a landing spot after the transfer portal. It will be compelling to see where the Locke brothers sign next and if they can appear on the same show again.
In total, the Wisconsin Football team currently has 17 transfers per person 247Sportswhich also includes quarterback Tyler Van Dyke.
