The Wisconsin football staff recently hosted the state’s top recruit in the 2027 class during the competition explosive victory over Purdue.
Isaac MillerThe 6-foot-5 defensive lineman for Catholic Memorial is considered one of the top recruits in Wisconsin’s 2027 class. Although Miller’s recruiting process was ponderous, the Wisconsin football staff began to show some interest in the athlete.
Miller stated, “I talked to a few recruiters and coaches, but there was no indication that they really wanted me and were going to offer me.” However, after his recent visit, the staff may start trying to connect with the talented recruit. Miller is just starting to get a feel for the recruiting process and his name will likely become quite common in a brief amount of time.
Miller enjoyed spending time watching the Wisconsin football team during their substantial win over the Purdue Boilermakers last weekend. After the visit and the excitement, Miller was asked if he would like to visit more schools for games this season. Miller responded by stating, “I’m hoping to go to Minnesota for game day and visit schools around Wisconsin to gain more exposure and get more people to see my name.”
I had a great time in Madison today. It was great to see it @BadgerFootball come out W vs Purdue! Thank you to the training staff for this amazing experience! @RoseBrandon_ @_maximus347 @CoachWhit_UW @WisFBRecruiting @EwaldTaylor @PrepRedzoneWI @RyanBartow #InWisconsin pic.twitter.com/Wi2ZCIf0SM

While the talented defensive lineman wants to visit more local schools, he admitted he hasn’t booked any other visits yet.
One surprising school that made Miller’s list is the Utah Utes, which has a special bond with the recruit. Miller’s father was previously a member of the Utes, and Miller is in a relationship with the team’s current head coach. Utah is a school the recruit would like to visit and likely will when he finds time in his schedule.
Wisconsin State football staff, Impress substantial defensive lineman Isaac Miller
Following Miller’s game day visit, the Wisconsin football staff may invite the recruit back to campus in the near future.
Over the past few seasons, the Wisconsin football staff has had little luck recruiting for the Wisconsin State team. However, the staff works tough to ensure each recruiting class includes players they consider to be the most talented in the state.
Miller is widely believed to be not only one of the best cornerbacks in Wisconsin, but also one of the top recruits in the entire state. In recent years, Catholic Memorial has played a key role in developing top soccer talent in the state of Wisconsin. Miller has the potential to be the next player to come out of high school at the top.
The 230-pound guard also has experience on the other side of the ball, sometimes playing on offense for his team. Miller has shown shrewd route running and impressive hands, opening the door for the recruit to potentially play multiple positions at the next level. For now, however, our focus is on becoming the best all-around player a recruit can be.
