Wisconsin Football is committing a versatile athlete from New Jersey in 2025

Wisconsin football made its second decision of the day after the top running back announced his intentions.

Cameron Miller, a 2025 three-star linebacker from New Jersey, has been with the Wisconsin football program for several months. Wisconsin and Miller quickly partnered after establishing contact earlier this year. Miller now joins the Wisconsin football program at Kentucky, Georgia, Duke and others.

After several months of intense recruiting, the Wisconsin football staff has landed one of its desired hidden recruits. Cameron Miller is one of the most highly recruited three-star recruits in the country as he has offers from major programs such as Georgia, Oregon, and Ohio State, to name a few. What has earned Miller 21 scholarship offers is his ability to play different styles of play and positions on his team.

Miller is officially listed as a cornerback at his high school, but Miller has plenty of experience playing the receiver position on his team. Miller is a brisk, explosive player who is 170 cm high and easily defeats defenders. However, the talented athlete didn’t receive all this attention solely as a receiver, as Miller played as a defensive back in some programs.

For the Wisconsin Badgers football staff, the plan at this point is to make Miller a winger.

For the Wisconsin football staff, there is a growing sense of pressure on the staff and program as the team needs to produce in the upcoming season. Wisconsin’s success starts on the field with who the program recruits and brings to the team. The Badgers have been very busy over the last few weeks as they have been pushing challenging to make good on their commitments.

Head coach Luke Fickell has long been known as someone who looks for a specific physique and aggression in the playing style of his players. Fickell was personally involved in Miller’s recruitment because Miller fit the bill as a Badgers-type player.

With multiple positions to choose from, where will Miller play for the Wisconsin Badgers?

Entering his senior year, Miller has experience as a linebacker, cornerback and wide receiver. The versatile athlete also had the opportunity to return kicks and punts on special teams for his high school team.

At this point, the Wisconsin football staff plans to develop Miller into the program’s full-time wide receiver. Miller is talented in every position he plays, but the staff believes the best option for the future would be to permanently move to the offensive side of the ball.
