This afternoon, during the official visit weekend, the Wisconsin football staff made another commitment during the 2025 recruiting class.
Four-star equipment 2025 Logan Powell after careful consideration, he announced his commitment to the Wisconsin football program. Powell has worked with the Badgers at Alabama, Arizona, Tennessee and Arizona State, to name a few. The Badgers currently have 12 commits in their 2025 recruiting class, and Powell is the highest-ranked member of that class in the state of Wisconsin.
Wisconsin Football earned four stars after tackle by Logan Powell
In the first week of official visits, the Wisconsin football staff secured a post-game commitment Logan Powell announced his decision this afternoon. Powell, a four-star offensive guard from Arizona, has received 26 scholarship offers from major programs such as Arizona, Alabama and Tennessee. The Badgers managed to pass Powell over to other major schools to secure his 12th commitment in the 2025 cycle.
Powell is the second overall recruit out of Arizona and the 25th offensive tackle in the 2025 recruiting class. The offensive tackle is currently the highest-rated player in the 2025 class for the Wisconsin football program.
Wisconsin Badgers football has a sturdy, physical attack on the line
If there’s one thing every coach loves about a lineman, it’s that he’s not afraid to bulldoze opposing defenses. Powell is just that type of lineman, measuring 6 feet 4 inches and 280 pounds with powerful blocks that allow him to accelerate quickly. Given his size, he’s probably still a year or two away from taking the field for the Badgers, but with the program Wisconsin has, he can certainly fulfill his potential on the team.
What’s next for the Wisconsin football recruiting staff after Powell’s commitment?
Wisconsin football has worked strenuous to address its biggest needs this recruiting cycle, and the staff has done a good job so far. Powell is a great addition to the team and provides another layer of depth where the Badgers didn’t have much success last season.
For Wisconsin football, the next move will likely be to involve one of their many corner targets. The Badgers have expert projections for two different cornerbacks Rukeem Stroud AND Mason Alexandereach of whom will be visiting campus soon.
