Wisconsin lawmakers press DNR board members on wolves, pollution and sandhill crane hunting

Republican lawmakers pressed Gov. Tony Evers’ three Democratic appointees to the Department of Natural Resources board Wednesday on wolf management, the sandhill crane hunt and the cost of PFAS pollution ahead of possible confirmation votes.
But the GOP-controlled state Senate Sports Heritage Committee didn’t get many specific answers from Sharon Adams, Dylan Jennings or Paul Buhr during the 90-minute hearing. The trio revealed little about their personal positions, keeping their answers vague.
