Members of Wisconsin Natural Resources Board (NRB) approved the extension of the emergency principle to enable further restricted Walley collections in the Minocqua chain in the lakes in Oneid’s Fountry until the end of the half-half season 2024-25.
Fisheries was covered by the emergency principle in 2024, which would expire at the end of January. This modern emergency principle will extend the restricted season open by winter until the season is opened on a constant principle of April 1.
